  • Shape before size — a hipped roof is a quarter more work than a gable of the same footprint
  • Covering — natural slate runs close to double concrete tile
  • Scaffolding, £780–£1,600. If a quote doesn't mention it, it's coming later

Breathable membrane, treated battens, stainless fixings, ridge bedded in lime mortar.

Every nail magnet-swept off the drive. Photo set and the written ten-year guarantee by email.
